Our Commitment

At Blob AI, we believe that access to thoughtful, privacy-respecting AI shouldn't come with barriers. We are committed to making heyblob.com and the Blob AI application usable by everyone — including people with disabilities — and to continuously improving the accessibility of our product.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to comply with applicable accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and, where applicable, the European Accessibility Act.

What We're Doing

We take an ongoing, active approach to accessibility:

Design and Development Standards

• We design with sufficient color contrast ratios to support users with low vision or color blindness.
• Our interface is built to be navigable by keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse.
• We use semantic HTML so that screen readers and assistive technologies can accurately parse and convey our content.
• Form fields, buttons, and interactive elements are labeled clearly for assistive technology users.
• Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Content

• Images and icons that convey meaning include descriptive alternative text.
• We avoid using color as the sole means of conveying information.
• We aim to write in plain, clear language.

Testing

• We conduct periodic accessibility audits using a combination of automated tools and manual review.
• We test with commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers.

Known Limitations

We are transparent about the fact that accessibility is ongoing work. Some areas of heyblob.com or the Blob app may not yet meet our full accessibility goals.

We have not identified specific barriers at this time, but we recognize that accessibility is never finished work. We conduct ongoing audits and testing and will update this statement promptly if any issues are identified. We are committed to resolving any barriers brought to our attention as quickly as possible.

Assistive Technologies We Aim to Support

We design and test to support the following assistive technologies, though we aim to be compatible with a broader range of tools as well:

• Voice control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS / iOS)
• Keyboard navigation: Full keyboard access on all major browsers
• Browser zoom: Up to 200% without horizontal scrolling on standard viewports

We aim to ensure that our subscription flow — including plan selection, payment, and account management — is fully accessible. If you encounter any barriers during the sign-up or billing process, contact us and we will assist you directly.
